Spook

Blender. The new 2.5 version interface, and the possibility to customize the key-mapping ( so i can use Maya hot-keys) decided me to have a try…
So far , i’m focussing on the modeling part. And must say, i like it.
It’s refreshing to discover a new software, even though i sometime spend a all morning finding a simple thing like activating texture transparency in the 3d window… :-D But Blender is well done. And there are some very helpful forums (BlenderArtist) and blogs (khamsin.org and foreverblender are very good) for newbies like me.
So here a bunch of screenshots and renders of a F-4E Phantom II fuselage, the « Spook » (love that mascot created by Tony Wong)… Don’t know how much i’ll detail it yet …
